Distributor Manager (TN31669)


Key responsibilities for the role.
Strategy and delivering Sales Targets
● Collaborating with Sales Director and Presidency, implement a sales strategy and tactics to deliver Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales targets outlined in annual Sales Plan including growth in sales, products and new clients.
● Generate and manage the sales Funnel by identifying opportunities through distributors, building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships and by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
● Accompanies and supports, when required, any problems that occur in commercial processes with distributors and find solutions.
● Manage key accounts through key distributors: Coordinate and/or assist with different activities to maximize: C- Suite visits and contacts. Define and execute business and sales strategies in partnership with distributors, establish specific, measurable, financial, and non-financial desired outcomes with territory assigned to distributors (monthly business reviews). All this is essential in developing and maintaining relationships with all key stakeholders.
● Utilize effectively sales tool (GLOVIA) to manage leads and opportunities and provide the company with relevant market information, prospective customers, competitive activity, etc.
● Develop positive and collaborative working relationships functions to ensure that the most effective solutions are used in coordination of the sales process, to effectively and efficiently provide a full range of support for pre, and post-sale support, and to enhance the effectiveness of the entire Sales and Manager function.
● Coordinate introduction of new products may be in partnership with marketing, regulatory, Business Operation and Finance.
● Attend Trade shows directly or in collaboration with distributors to support marketing plan execution.
● Lead or participate in special projects and/or take on additional responsibilities as requested by the Sales Management Team.
Administrative Information management
● Utilize Business Intelligence, GLOVIA and Sales Analysis Tools/Reports to manage, assess, and maximize opportunities. Supervises input from the team (data quality) and is a continuous source of information for marketing.
● Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members to drive improvement opportunities discussion.
● Assist in preparing an annual territory business plan, using available analytical tools to derive maximum sales and market penetration.
● Completes administrative aspects of role inclusive of response to GLOVIA, Email, timely follow up of critical actions, expense reporting, trip reports, etc. on a thorough and timely basis and adheres to company policy inclusive of pricing, free goods, phone use, etc.
Product and Market Knowledge
● Has expertise in Technical & clinical benefits of our products being capable to answer 90-95% of client questions (master) in line with Paramount Bed mission & vision. Use this knowledge to ensure value proposition is presented to and understood by customers (End Users) and engages and/or directs service partners as required to secure new and/or recurring business.
● Develop a broad understanding of the market and competitive landscape to identify customer trends and key competitors, to be able to provide a comprehensive assessment of customer drivers and competitive positioning.
● Manage inventory levels of distributors to properly respond to sales opportunities in territories, and manages sales out report with each distributor to properly follow-up with sales.


● Bachelor’s degree in commercial, engineering or administration (highly desired)
● 3 to 5 years managing distributors in Mexico
● 5 to 10 years experience in healthcare industry
● Track record and proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals


● Goal oriented, high drive and autonomy.
● Self-motivated and self-directed.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
● Established rapport, positive working relationships, and a demonstrated team player with all internal and external partners.
● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
● Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
● Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts.
● Computer literacy: Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
● Demonstrates strong business and financial analytical skills/proficient with Excel
● Passion for teaching, training, and sharing knowledge
● Ability and willingness to travel 50% including weekends
● Ability to speak, read, and write in English Fluently (above 75%).
