General Manager (TN31333)


Responsibilities


1) Oversee day-to-day operations of Sales Department, Operations Department and Marketing Department,
and utilize its all available resources to achieve HQ’s expectation.
2) Design strategy and set goals for growth, and execute to achieve the company goals.
3) Maintain budgets and optimize expenses, analyze financial documents including P&L, B/S, cash flow forecast, A/R and inventory aging reports. Control the cash position. Constantly keep watching A/R and minimize any delinquency and write-off. Make appropriate suggestions to the Operations Managers, and submit the reports to the HQ (Headquarters in Osaka, Japan) by due date.
4) Carefully monitor and control inventory by working with the Operations team, and prevent slow-moving and obsolescence of inventory. Make suggestions to the Operations team what to purchase and what not to purchase from the HQ, and help the Operations manager with the PSI and adjust inventory turnover.
5) Plan and sell such slow-moving inventory to reduce any negative financial impact and inventory reserves required by the HQ.
6) Monitor the various sales reports, and sales data, and immediately take appropriate actions when needed.
7) Prepare the monthly, quarterly, weekly and daily sales forecast and reports for the HQ. The sales forecast must be as accurate as possible.
8) Prepare presentation materials for the sales and management meetings with the HQ.
9) Attend the meetings with the HQ, and outside auditors, and also make proper responses to their questions.
10) Manage the CRM tool, Kintone, and have the sales engineers enter activities in a timely manner.
11) Make direct and prompt communication with the HQ and fulfill HQ’s requests in a timely manner.
12) Set policies and processes, and also help the Operations manager update the Employee Handbooks.
13) Ensure employees work productively, develop professionally and solve the issues and problems in terms of the company’s best interests.
14) Oversee recruitment, training of new employees and terminate employees when needed.
15) Direct the employee assessment process
16) Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
17) Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
18) Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team as NSM.
19) Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
20) Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
21) Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
22) Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
23) Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requerimientos:

1) Fluent in Japanese and Mexican Spanish with a business level.
2) Proven experience as a General Manager and National Sales Manager, or similar executive role.
3) Experience in planning and budgeting.
4) Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
5) Strong analytical ability.
6) Excellent communication skills.
7) Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
8) Problem-solving aptitude.
9) BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
10) BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
11) Successful previous experience as a general manager, sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
12) Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
13) Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
14) Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
15) Strong business sense and industry expertise.
16) Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
